Distance from Cape Town: 1 hour
Setting: Within the protected environment of the Overberg’s Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, on the slopes of the mountain that gives this designer cabin its name, you may not spot it amid the rocks and fynbos. It’s painted black and blends in beautifully; from the inside, a similar dark palette perfectly frames mesmerising views all the way across False Bay. Needless to say, the sunsets here are magnificent.
